KOTA KINABALU: Those who wish to celebrate Chinese New Year in a cosy and relaxed environment should check out what Ming Garden Hotel and Residences here has to offer.
 They are offering a Chinese New Year buffet until Chap Goh Mei (Feb 8) with various delicacies including Yee Sang. There are two dinner set dishes offered; one priced at RM888 and the other RM988. There are available during the eve and first day of Chinese New Year at their halal Ming Court Chinese Restaurant. Another promotion is at RM125 per person. According to assistant food and beverage director (banquet), Syukur Salleh for guests who come in a group of five to 10 persons, the offer will be RM100 per person. “For a group of 20-30 persons, it will be RM90 per person. A discount of RM80 per person will be accorded to a group f 40 to 50 people,” he stressed. There are 230 types of dishes offered including charcoal and barbeque areas outside the hotel.
