KOTA KINABALU: Sutera Harbour Resort re-opens its doors to guests and members.
This is aligned with the State government’s decision in allowing selected economic sectors
periodically to re-open as it enters the sixth phase of the Conditional Movement Control Order(CMCO).
According to the resort’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Gerard Tan, Sutera Harbour Resort resumes its business operations at The Magellan Sutera Resort.
“Our room accommodation is available for stays while the Al Fresco restaurant renowned for its delectable cuisine in an outdoor setting with spectacular scenery and a relaxing atmosphere, opens daily from 6.30pm to 10.00pm.”
The Sutera Harbour Golf and Country Club is also open with Terrace operating from 7am to 7pm and Marina Cafe from 10.00am to 10.00pm.
Outdoor dining with glorious panoramic views of the South China Sea and beautiful islands of Sabah are now available.
“Our operations are in accordance to the recommended guidelines. We are looking forward to catering to local sectors for any business-related needs,” he said.
Tan said adapting to the new normal practices could take time.
“We have put in place our internal health and safety protocols that are based on the Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) implemented by the government.
“Our main priority will be on the safety, health and comfort of our guests and members,” he said.
Tan also stated that Sutera Harbour Resort will emphasise more on getting its staff trained on the new guidelines.
“In fact, we are one of the first resorts to implement safety and health measures based on the best practices and guidelines from the MOH, when the COVID-19 outbreak emerged,” he said.
