KOTA KINABALU: Sandakan Media Association (PEMASSA) is ready to extend cooperation to Sabah Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (CVLB) to disseminate information to commercial vehicle license holders.
The message was conveyed by PEMASSA chairman James Leong to its chairman Dato’ Chin Kim Hiung during a courtesy call at Chin’s office here yesterday.
“We will work closely with CVLB to highlight its policies and programmes for the benefits of commercial vehicle license holders in Sabah particularly Sandakan,” James said.
James expressed appreciation to Chin for donating five boxes of face masks to PEMASSA for use by media practitioners on front line duties in Sandakan.
Meanwhile, Chin thanked the media for being supportive and providing coverage for CVLB press releases and activities.
He also took the opportunity to again remind Sabah school bus operators to submit documents to CVLB for the RM 600 one-off special assistance from the Federal Government.
CVLB offices statewide are facilitating application for the special assistance and eligible school bus operators should submit photocopy of their 1) identity card 2) driving license 3) school bus permit and 4) Public Service Vehicle (PSV) license without further delay.-pr/BNN
