KOTA KINABALU: Angkatan Bersatu Anak Muda Parti (Armada) BERSATU Putatan will go all out to help candidates among its members fielded to contest in any seats in the State.
Putatan Armada Chief Mohd Isquzawan Israq Datuk Seri Arsit said in the last election, it showed that that votes from youth played a great part in changing the government and it is also important to have a balance.
According to him, there are several potential areas to contest that have been forwarded to the leaders in the State level.
“This will show that BERSATU is a party that do not sideline the roles of youth but include them for their experiences. This have been discussed,” he said.
“We will wait for decision, soon and if the candidate is a ‘winnable candidate’ we will help out in the State level,” he said to reporters during Armada State Conference here today.
On the response among Youth to Armada, he said it has been very encouraging and he believed that they will be successful in ensuring that they are accepted well by the voting community.
Meanwhile, Putatan BERSATU Chief Datuk Arsit Sedi said Armada is a very important group as they will take over the leadership in near future.
He said they must be prepared to not only to face the expected State election but also work hard to ensure that BERSATU is accepted by the people.-BNN
