PAPAR: Warisan’s bid to win the Limbahau new seat has been dealt a serious blow after the party’s Papar division here lost its divisional secretary Faizal Julaili tu Umno.
Faizal who served in the Warisan government as the political secretary to the Law and Native Affairs Ministry today joined Tan Sri Musa Aman at an event to support PBS candidate for Limbahau Datuk Johnny Mositun in Kg Surati, Papar. In his speech, Faizal said he decided to leave Warisan because he has lost his confidence in the party’s leadership including the Papar division leadership. He said the Warisan leadership has failed to look after the welfare of its divisional leaders. “Warisan members in Papar felt betrayed because of this neglect. We have no choice but to leave this party which we have helped build,” he said.
Thanks to the snap election, Faizal said the people now have an option to change the government when they go to the polls this Saturday.-pr/BNN
