KOTA KINABALU; I would like to thank Sabahans for choosing to vote out the previous Warisan-led government and side with the GRS coalition in the recently concluded State elections.
This is a victory for the people and I congratulate Sabahans for coming out in droves to exercise their constitutional rights to choose their own government, despite the threat of COVID-19 that is still ravaging the state and the world.
I especially would like to thank also Sabahans who made the long journey from Malaya and Sarawak to take part in this democratic process.
Without your firm support and your faith in us, this new government would not be here today. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you.
I am confident that this new government would be more than capable of repairing the damages done to our economy and our unity just as had been promised.
