KOTA KINABALU:Acting upon public complaints via his facebook page, regarding some tree trunks which had fallen and hit a telecommunication cable at Kapayan Lorong 5, Gee Tien Siong and his team went into action.
Gee, who is Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) vice president, and his team did a site visit and confirmed the situation, found out it was close to hitting a residential house roof. The house owner Mr. Lim told him his worry that his house might be damaged by the fallen trunks, requesting the assistance of the relevant authority to clear it.
The matter was then brought by Gee to the relevant authority who immediately acted and cleared the tree trunks and branches.-pr/BNN
