KOTA KINABALU:Minister in the Prime MInister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs) Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili paid a courtesy call on Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor at the latter’s office at the Sabah Legislative Assembly Building, here, on Tuesday.
This is their first meet after Hajiji took over the State’s administration in August.
In the half-an-hour meeting, both leaders discussed pertinent issues, including updates on matters pertaining to the Malaysia Agreement 1963, development projects in Sabah, to mention some.
Later, Ongkili was also briefed on the progress of projects in Sabah, including the ‘projek sakit’ (delayed projects), during a meeting with the Sabah Federal Secretary, Datuk Samsuni Mohd Nor.
Labours shortage due to Covid-19 and Movement Control Orders (MCO), as well as problematics contractors, were blamed for the delays.-pr/BNN
