KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor said the Sabah State government is ready to hold the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting at any time if the situation permits.

“We will seek National Security Council (NSC) advise and we will be ready to reconvene under strict operating procedures (SOPs),” he said.

Hajiji said he has held a discussion with State Assembly Speaker, Datuk Haji Kadzim Hj. Yahya yesterday following the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah’s view that Parliament should sit as soon as possible.-pr/BNN
