KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) N27 Limbahau CLC on Friday visited the Papar Sabah Health Clinic and presented a donation in the form of 100 sets of personal protective equipment (PPE),24 boxes of face masks and 20 units of infrared thermometers. They were received by its Health Director Dr Alfred Aldrin.
The donation team was led by Edward Dagul, who is SAPP Deputy President had the chance to exchange views with the director. They were also briefed by Dr Alfred on vaccination programs and efforts by the health personnel in curbing the increasing and critical Covid-19 situation.
Edward, who is also SAPP Limbahau CLC chairman will continue to work to assist the frontliners in their efforts to combat the Covid-19 epidemic particularly in the Papar district and Sabah as well.
“This PPE donation equipment is part of the China Embassy donation received by the SAPP Headquarters on 30 August, hopefully this small donation can help and ease the burden of the front line staff at the Papar Health Clinic,” he said.
The public is reminded to continue to abide by the SOPs and register in the vaccination program to heed the Government’s call for Sabah to achieve herd immunity at the shortest time possible.
Also present during the visit was Nelson Marcellus, SAPP Supreme Council Member and its Limbahau Youth Chief, Mrs. Josie Jilip, SAPP Limbahau Women’s chief and George Yutop SAPP N27 Limbahau CLC Secretary.-pr/BNN
