KOTA KINABALU: Giving to the less fortunate is one of KPJ Sabah’s contribution to society, as shown during a breaking of fast dinner recently.
During the event, they treated 27 orphans from Rumah Madrasah Waqaf Islamiah, Likas to a breaking of fast treat and were later given duit raya.
The breaking of fast dinner, synonymous to the fasting month, was led Faizal Mohamed, KPJ’s General Manager. During the event they presented Zakat to Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah (MUIS).
The dinner held at KPJ’s lobby hall was attended by staff, friends, family and members of the media as well as accompanying personnel from the orphanage.
The orphans later presented songs on stage to show their appreciation to their host KPJ.-BNN
