KOTA KINABALU: The highly anticipated Breeze Model Search (BMS) 2025/2026 was officially launched yesterday at the Hilton Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, marking the start of a major talent discovery campaign focused on unearthing the next generation of modeling stars from Borneo—especially Sabah.
A total of 24 aspiring models—comprising 12 men and 12 women—will be selected through a combination of local scouting and social media submissions via Breeze Magazine’s official platforms. These finalists will be featured prominently in editorial and fashion segments throughout the campaign.
The competition will reach its pinnacle at the Grand Finale in January 2026, where the Top 5 finalists from each category will be announced. In addition to the main titles, a number of subsidiary awards will be presented, recognizing a range of unique qualities and talents.
This year’s Female Subsidiary Titles include Miss Body Beautiful, Miss Unique, Miss Intelligence, Best Female Make-Up, and Breeze Female Fashion Designer — celebrating beauty, individuality, intellect, artistry, and design talent.
The Male Subsidiary Titles are Mr Physique, Mr Unique, Mr Intelligence, Best Male Make-Up, and Breeze Male Fashion Designer – recognising fitness, uniqueness, intellect, grooming skills, and creative fashion design.
One male and one female winner will ultimately be crowned and featured together on the cover of Breeze Magazine’s 2026 edition—a major milestone and springboard into the fashion and entertainment industries.
Far more than a beauty contest, BMS 2025/2026 is a platform that celebrates Sabah’s diverse beauty, creativity, and cultural identity.
The initiative provides invaluable exposure to local talents, while fostering opportunities for career growth in the fashion and media sectors. Finalists will also receive exclusive merchandise and support from Breeze’s official sponsors and partners.
Leading the campaign is the dynamic Breeze Magazine team: Mohammad Iskandar (Proprietor), Nicole Patrick Sindu (Creative Director), John Fernandez (Sales Director), Boy Razak Sindu (Fashion Director), and Azlin Awang Chee (Event Director).
Their combined vision and expertise ensure that BMS remains a vibrant, professional, and impactful platform for emerging talents.
The public is invited to follow the full journey of BMS 2025/2026 via Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, where behind-the-scenes content, regular updates, and participant highlights will be shared. Community support and engagement are vital in elevating Sabah’s fashion industry-and Breeze looks forward to having the public along every step of the way.-pr/BNN
