TAMBUNAN: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) have finalised its seats allocation, which will be known on Nomination Day.

“Yes, we know already (but) I cannot announce now. Just wait on Nomination Day and you will know the numbers,” said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor, who is also GRS Chairman.

He was asked if GRS and PH have already reached a decision on the seat distribution for the upcoming 17th State Election.

Hajiji also said that GRS will unveil its manifesto after Nomination Day.”We will offer the best to the people of Sabah,” he said when met after visiting the SAN Pekan Tambunan here today.

Hajiji expressed his confidence that the mandate would be returned to the GRS-PH based on its five-year track record.

“We have made many achievements through various socio-economic programmes for the people. We have brought high-impact investments to spur Sabah’s economic development.

“We have spent more than RM1.3 billion on human capital development initiatives. We gave monthly assistance of RM300 to the hardcore poor in the e-Kasih list.

“We have scored successes in the oil and gas industry. The oppositions tried to nullify these successes but I believe the people are matured and will appreciate our successes,” he said.

Hajiji also noted that the State Election this time around would be merrier with so many political parties already announcing their intention to contest.”Let us celebrate democracy,” he said. – pr/BNN
