KOTA KINABALU: The newly formed Unity State Cabinet is committed to working closely together to drive Sabah’s prosperity and progress over the next five years, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor.

“We have a strong capability to deliver this, based on the development achievements recorded over the past five years. We are ready to launch the holistic, inclusive and comprehensive Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) 2.0 development plan in 2026,” he said after chairing the first State Cabinet meeting at Menara Kinabalu here today.

Hajiji stressed the importance of strengthening the State Government to ensure continued political stability and sustained development. He said the successes of the past five years were the result of dedicated efforts to maintain stability and build a conducive environment for progress.

“With this new administration, my Cabinet colleagues and I will reinforce our commitment to maintaining stability and supporting a political agenda based on unity and development,” he added.

The Chief Minister also reaffirmed his commitment to governing fairly and inclusively.

“I am a Chief Minister for all — serving every citizen of Sabah without prejudice, regardless of background, race or religion,” he said.
