KOTA KINABALU:With a stroke of one press conference, PKR leader Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, has fatally damaged the Warisan-plus campaign in Sabah because the hoax of taking over the federal government has backfired against Warisan.
Bearing in mind that the main attraction of Perikatan Nasional is that the Sabah state government and the Federal government should be on the same page and aligned together, the stunt of PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim taking over the Federal Government was supposed to boost the chances of Parti Warisan-plus in the Sabah elections on Saturday.
*Not Perikatan Nasional but KL stock market that collapsed*
But three hours after the press conference, the so-called takeover of the federal government has fizzled out. What collapsed was not the Perikatan Nasional government but the KL stock market. The leaders who were confused were not Perikatan but DAP and Amanah.
Anwar’s PKR purported method to take over the federal government was by the cross-overs of MPs from other parties. This is exactly the “frogging” issue that Warisan and PKR are using in Sabah against their opponents. The effect of Anwar’s dramatic press conference yesterday has effectively killed the frogs issue in Sabah. As a result, Parti Warisan and its allies, PKR, DAP and UPKO, have been made to look like clowns in the circus of Pakatan Harapan circus.
While the Prime Minister was dedicating his government to the Bantuan Prihatin to help the people overcome the economic crisis facing the nation, Warisan and its partners indulge in politicking of the worst kind that causes misery to the people.-
