KOTA KINABALU: The fasting month of Ramadan is here again and as usual everyone look forward to the bazaar which would be sprouting everywhere during this time.
However with the pandemic still raging the streets all over the world, the Government had prohibited the people from opening up Ramadan bazaars; rightly so, as they want to protect the people from the virus.
Some may be dismayed by this, but they have a great choice to break their fast; at Seven Sails, The Magellan Sutera Resort. The place is very ideal for breaking of fast. The restaurant is not far from the sea front. While waiting for the breaking of fast, one can sit there and watch the sunset. It is a brilliant sight all the time, except during rainy days. Photography buffs will absolutely love this.
The food offered there for the breaking of fast are many and various. In fact, one can be spoiled for choice.
At the breaking of fast corner, there are five items to chose from that includes kurma, bubur lambuk, popia goreng and cucur udang. Move on to the Malay corner, there are more than 20 items to choose from and mutton soup. From there, one can go to the hot mains. The mains include meats cooked in various savouries, numbering 11 in all. If one has room for more, there are stalls offering satay, bakso, fried chicken, squids and prawns as well as all sort of fish.
There is also a Chinese corner with their immense variety of hot mains, stalls and soup. Go for the dessert, too. There are so many mouth-watering items on the buffet table.
