KOTA KINABALU: Food baskets were distributed to Kepayan Ridge low-cost housing area on Saturday.
Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) vice president and Community Development Leader Gee Tien Siong who was invited to join the distribution process, with the supplies arranged and prepared by Umno Kota Kinabalu Division led by its chief Hajjah Musliati Moslimin, Sabah BN Youth Chief Ir Azis Julkaranain and Deputy division chief Haji Syahrani Hamdi.
The food aid totaling 966 baskets was distributed to residents of houses and shophouses of the area to ensure that every family can benefit.
According to Gee, the distribution started from 10 am to 5 pm which did not stop even though slightly interrupted by a heavy downpour that day.-pr/BNN
