KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Creative Economy and Innovation Center (SCENIC) and Kota Kinabalu Film and Video Association (KKFVA) have held a briefing session on the new brand of Network Device Interface (NDI) technology product recently.
The NDI is a low-latency IP video protocol especially for professionals to develop live video production.
The briefing on the new brand product using NDI, was held at a restaurant in Likas, here in which it introduced the latest network device interface technology information to the local video/live broadcasters.
The briefing session was conducted by Channel Sales Engineer Ng Kian Eng—a sales engineer for Blonde Robot Company, and Chia Wai Hoe —a Presales Engineer.
The NDI can transmit and receive various broadcast-quality signals over an IP network and offer mutual identification as well as communication features.
The functions can help video/live broadcasters to effectively transmit video and live events to the social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube.
The company also introduced various camera including the BirdDog outdoor remote control camera.
KKFVA chairman Katak Chua believed that this new technology will create higher-quality footage for the live broadcast industry and bring a new visual experience to the audience.
He said that KKFVA would cooperate with other government agencies and corporates to hold similar briefings in the future to update the existing technology and equipment for video and filming industry.-pr/BNN
