KOTA KINABALU: The recently appointed Mayor of Kota Kinabalu City, Dato’ Sri Dr. Hajin Sabin Bin Samitah, made an official visit to the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) at the invitation of Chief Executive Officer Datuk Dr. Hajah Rosmawati Haji Lasuki, J.P.
During the visit, Datuk Hajah Rosmawati presented the facilities of SICC and highlighted the upcoming Business Events Forum – “BE in SABAH,” scheduled for 29 February to 1 March 2024.
With the theme “Gathering of the International Business Events Communities,” this event
transcends the conventional conference. It is a convergence of local and international
thought leaders, decision-makers, and industry professionals where our primary objective is clear—to engage with key stakeholders, foster collaboration, and catalyse growth and
innovation within the business events industry.
This will facilitate invaluable networking opportunities and hopefully the exchange of leads.
Discussions between the Mayor and CEO centred on collaborative efforts to enhance Kota
Kinabalu City as a dynamic Business Event destination.
