KOTA KINABALU: KDCA Youth Council Chairman, Steve Johnny Mositun thank Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor who announced an allocation of RM10 million to help subsidise flight tickets for all Sabah students studying in public higher education institutions (IPTs) in the peninsula, Sarawak and Labuan.
He said the one off RM600 subsidy will really help students who is entitle to receive. He believe the best machinism can be establish for entitle students to receive this aid and this is prove the Sabah Maju Jaya slogan is not only a billboard slogan.
Referring to the recent announcement by the chief minister during His visit in penang Parents and students themselves need to appreciate the kind allocation by the government via chief minister.
Steve who is also Gabungan Rakyat Sabah Youth Information Chief Adding, All this while not only students but many Sabahan or Sarawakian need to plan ahead for their journey in order to have cheaper flight back to their homeland. Yet during festive and holiday seasons it seems that prices are too high. MP from Sabah have been Addressing the issue during Parliment Seating,  it is a long overdue issue face especially Sabah/Sarawak Counterpart and we need to have a solution.
“We understand there are many dissatisfaction especially on the on going development in Sabah, yet we can see progress is done.”
“Meanwhile, Electronic media content and posting which is violating the law of multimedia under section 233 need to be seriously monitored as we Sabahan and the Nation need to move forward and have more positive mindset. I agree with complaint in order to serve better but negative and bad intention posting is a modern disease where mental health issue via social media is increasing. “
“We need to be together in order for us to move forward. More outbox suggestion is needed and at the same time government and related agencies need to accept with open heart. Forward is the way for us to grow and be a better Sabahan who can set example not only as Malaysian but for the other nation to notice.”-pr/BNN
