KOTA KINABALU: The Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor witnessed the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) ceremony involving Assistant Ministers and Political Secretaries at Menara Kinabalu, here on Thursday.
The ceremony began with the Assistant Ministers and Political Secretaries reciting the IBR as a mark of commitment to strengthen integrity and accountable governance in the
state administration.
Following the signing of the Corruption-Free Pledge by all participants, Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, Datuk Joniston Bangkuai and Chief Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Azrul Ibrahim each representing the Assistant Ministers and Political
Secretaries respectively, handed the IBR documents to the Director of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Sabah branch, Datuk Mohd Fuad Bee Basrah.
Mohd Fuad, who witnessed the ceremony gave a special briefing on anti-corruption prevention efforts and strengthening of an integrity culture within the public service.
Also present were the Director of the Cabinet and Policy Division, Chief Minister’s Department, Ms. Dayang Noorashikhin Zulkefli, and the Chief Minister’s Integrity Advisor, Chief Senior Assistant Commissioner (KPKPj) of the MACC, Awang Samsul Baharam Bungso.-pr/BNN
