MEMBAKUT: The Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (BERSATU) members and supporters in Kimanis need to give their fullest support to Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) candidate Datuk Haji Karim Bujang in the Kimanis Parliamentary By-election (PRK).
Sabah BERSATU Chief, Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor, said they need to do so for ensuring the Warisan candidate;s victory in the PRK concerned.
He said Warisan that leads the State Government is a friend of Pakatan Harapan (PH) which leads the Federal Government.
“As PH and Warisan are close friends, we must help.
“This is our responsibility as a PH component member. At this moment (PRK), we need to help our friend because Warisan candidate is our friend, the PH Government is friendly with Warisan so we have to go down and campaign.
“Therefore the BERSATU members and supporters in Kimanis parliamentary constituency must support and vote for the Warisan candidate contesting in this Kimanis PRK.
“We need to ensure the Warisan candidate not only win but also gets a big number of vote this time,” he said during his visit at the BERSATU machinery’s operations room for the Kimanis PRK at the BERSATU Kimanis Division office in Membakut town here today.
Hajiji, who is also Sulaman State Assemblyman, said the BERSATU machinery including Srikandi and Armada are working hard and campaigning to ensure Karim Bujang elected as the Kimanis Member of Parliament on January 18, 2020,” he added.
He said BERSATU members and supporters in the Kimanis Parliamentary constituency need to campaign and ensure their family members will also vote for the Warisan candidate.
He said BERSATU members need to campaign starting from among their family members and then among friends for the Warisan candidate’s victory.
“BERSATU members must foster a good collaboration and relationship with members of Warisan and other PH component parties in the Kimanis PRK in order to achieve victory,” he stressed.
Membakut State Assemblyman, Datuk Haji Mohd.Arifin Mohd.Arif who is also Kimanis BERSATU Division Chief, Lumadan State Assemblyman, Encik Matbali Haji Musah who is also Sipitang BERSATU Division Chief, Kimanis BERSATU Division Deputy Chief, Ahmad Yusof, Kimanis BERSATU Srikandi Chief, Puan Dayang Hairena Ag.Basir, and Kimanis BERSATU Secretary, Puan Hajah Surayah Haji Ibrahim, among others, were also present.-pr/BNN
