KOTA KINABALU: IFS Technology contributed free meals to Morefun foodpanda and GrabFood yesterday.
According to IFS Technology director Allen Tsang, the gesture was to express their thanks and appreciations to the riders for delivering their meals safely, to ensure that the people stayed at home.
The food was distributed at the Damn Good Burger Aeropod at midday between 12.30pm and 2.30pm, where 300 packets were collected by riders.
“We hope this small gesture will encourage our Riders and make them feel more appreciated,” he stated.
This was their response to the difficulties faced by the various groups and frontliners during the Covid19 pandemic and the subsequent two Movement Restrictions Order (MCO) duration imposed by the Government. The country is currently on its third MCO order, a expected to end by April 28.
IFS Technology had contributed tremendously where they presented essential goods to ‘Sukarelawan Belia’ of an NGO who distributed the items to the needy, several Old Folks Home, one being the One Home One Care Centre, Luyang Hospital for night shift doctors and medical personnel as well as Queen Elizabeth Hospital, St. John Ambulance and the Sabah Society for the Deaf. They had also distributed these essential goods to the Police and Army on duty at roadblocks.
Allen said this was one of the various charity works his company carried out since their business first started.-BNN
