（吉隆坡10日讯）华总会长丹斯里吴添泉对吉兰丹州政府指示州内所有购物商场、超市、便利店和快餐店须在哈芝节休业的措施感到纳闷失望，形容这是一项开倒车的作法。
他说，有关措施对引进外资、提高州内生产总值和经济动态都会带来不利影响。
他说，根据当局所发出的指示，表明任何不遵守的商家将被吊销营业执照，显示出当局是硬性规定来执行这项措施，对国州政府向来所强调和秉承的亲商政策，可说是背道而驰。
他说，全国各州都没有类似的政策或措施，而且政府应该贯彻的是自由商贸活动，通过亲商和利商政策来促进地方日常经济动态，尤其是目前整个国家正朝向各领域复苏进程，有关政策或措施是应该检讨的。
也是沙巴中华大会堂总会长的吴添泉今天发表文告说，在标榜自由商贸和民主精神下，任何有关民间商业合法合理经营活动的施政基础，都应该以被鼓励、协助和配合态度看待。
根据媒体报道，这也是丹州政府继规定开斋节首日和华人农历新年正月初一这两天，上述商业单位必须硬性休业后，再次发出类似的指示。
吴添泉认为，不论是农历新春正日或其他佳节庆典首天，民间商场作业流程动向，只要符合正常法规操守，都不应受到施施政当局的“指示休业”对待。
他说，哥打峇鲁市议会引述州政府有关决定而发出的指示中，希望商家合作与配合而遵守，同时表明将对违反的商家采取严厉执法行动，包括吊销营业执照在内，但是，却没有对当局作出这项决定的合理原因，这是让人感到纳闷和不解的。
另一方面，吴添泉对吉隆坡市政局陆续批准更新杂货店、便利店及中药店的售酒执照的措施，表示欢迎，同时希望当局正式宣布有关详情。
他也认为，为了配合吉隆坡身为一个国际大都会，各族人口和不同社群活动发展的不断扩大与需要，当局也应该在一些符合非穆斯林人口聚居和社群活动区，适度的批准新的售酒执照申请。-pr/BNN

（吉隆坡9日讯）华总会长丹斯里吴添泉表示，我国华社对中华文化承传，母语教育的坚持和发扬，从数百年来先辈下南洋一直到今天，可说是前仆后继，从未间断过。
他说，这点可从我国被公认是中国以外，华教体系和母语教育被保留和发展得最完整的国家中获得最有力证明。
他说，华教的完整和所带来的养分，直接催化了华人文化的稳健发展，两者间肯定是息息相关和缺一不可。
也是沙巴中华大会堂总会长的吴添泉是在这里接受《中新社》驻吉隆坡记者陈悦专访时发表上述谈话。
他也说，华总和各州华堂承办的全国华人文化节，这一系列努力和发扬，再加上其他相关的文化活动节目，例如他本身领导的沙巴州中华大会堂也常年主办的国际龙舟比赛、裹粽子观摩赛，以及国内其他节目如宗教神庆、中元节、冬至吃汤圆等等，都让全球的华人社会深感认同，甚至有机会也会前来参与其盛。
“诸如这些种种，都是百川归海的正面效应，不论是在马来西亚或是全球华人社会，都是如此。”
提及本届全国华人文化节时，吴添泉说，不论是升旗礼，火炬礼到全国华人文化节，30多年来，它一直是大马华社会由始至终不断坚持、捍卫和发扬中华文化和本土华人文化大结合的一个长远运动。
“这个使命和责任是重大与深具意义的，尤其是在多元种族和文化组成的马来西亚，它除了让全球华人社会刮目相看和津津乐道之外，也是大马华人历代相传，心手相连而引以为荣的民族使命！”-pr/BNN
