(吉隆坡15日讯)华总会长丹斯里吴添泉建议政府成立一个涵盖各族历史专家学者组成的独立委员会,全面检视中学历史教科书内容,并向政府提出必要补充修正,确保各族历史获得合理论述和记载,突显国家多元特征。 他说,我国是由多元种族组成,所有民族包括身为第二大族群的华裔,在这个国家的历史地位、论述与记载,都必须获得合理对待。 “在忠于历史的大前提下,让国人尤其是新生代认清国家由各民族携手共进、争取独立发展到繁荣盛世的史实,将有助于把种族极端主义或任何形式的沙文主义降到最低点,甚至朝向最终零点的目标。” 也是沙巴中华大会堂总会长的吴添泉今天发表文告,针对最新版本的中一至中五的历史教科书被学者认为过于马来化以及非马来人历史过于欠缺课题评论说,有关内容的教科书对种族多元性更突显的东马人民来说,更有其纠正改善的必要。 他强调,国家历史不应倚重在单一或某个族群角度来撰写论述,因它对其他族群欠公平合理,除了让其他族群存有被边缘化感受之外,也有蓄意突出某单一族群企图之嫌。 他希望教育部、朝野及各有关团体单位关注此事,确保中学历史教科书存有的偏颇或被学者专家点出和历史论据有所出入之处,能够尽速获得纠正,以免误导下一代对历史的认知。 他说,面对过殖民地时代、二战和成功争取独立等重大历史事故,今天我国仍是一个年轻的发展中国家,许多地方还存在涉及到各民族前来拓荒建国的史迹,还有一些见证或参与国家独立的先辈或先贤后裔,以及许多独立二代,不论是通过遗迹或是口述历史,都不难搜集与记载这些珍贵的国家地方历史资料和论述。 “国家历史的搜集和记载工作是千秋万世的国家大业,必须在绝对严谨,客观、专业、全民和忠于史料的基础为出发点和处理。” 吴添泉强调,对于一个像我国这样标榜民主且多元的国家,塑造新生代正确的历史观是绝对重要的一项“历史任务”,是不容有误的.-pr/BNN
