（吉隆坡10日讯）华总会长丹斯里吴添泉认为，任何方面都不应该主张把马六甲著名旅游景区圣保罗山（Bukit St. Paul）易名为马六甲山（Bukit Melaka）。
他说，多元种族、多元国情和“多元历史”是我国在世界上独有的特征，不应被改变。
“历史和历史的遗迹，包括名称在内，都应该保持现状，因为历史是不容被更改的。”
吴添泉是针对马六甲博物院机构最近提出把圣保罗山改名为马六甲山的建议，发表文告时强调，身为博物院，理应更尊重、保留和捍卫历史。
他形容，如果有关易名缺口被打开，将引发更多历史遗迹和名称被易名的风险，并形成一个严重的历史危机！
他呼吁马六甲州政府积极关注此事，同时确保早已被列入宪报和沿用多年的圣保罗山名称，获得永续保留。
他说，圣保罗山是以该座山上一间建于1521年的圣保罗教堂为命名，该教堂也被誉为国内甚至东南亚区最古老的天主教教堂，具有崇高的宗教和历史价值和地位。
“历史可以被研究，甚至被重新定位，但绝对不能被更改，因为它已经是一个无法被改变的历史，包括名称在内。”
他说，当局应该尊重历史，并确保马六甲身为国内外著名的历史名城，圣保罗山也被列为甲州世界文化遗产重要组成部分之一的崇高价值，不会受到任何易名而动摇，再说，有关名称多年来早已被联合国教科文组织、国内外历史学家和考古人员等熟悉及沿用迄今，该名称已经成为我国在世界历史名称中的其中部份。
“一旦被易名，除了破坏历史、文化和旅游，引来许多混淆、争议和不满之外，也将导致我国成为国际笑柄。”
他希望有关方面也能够尊重本地历史学者们，以及甲州许多组织与人民坚持保留圣保罗山名称的看法。

（吉隆坡8日讯）华总会长丹斯昊吴添泉说，多年参与华社和华团服务，对他的企业人生带来很大的互动和激励。
“一般上，企业注重盈利，倾向法理情；而华社华团讲究的是出钱出力和贡献，采取的是情理法。”
他说，在华社和华团工作上，他开拓了企业以外的更多人脉，认识了更多朋友，这些人脉网络，也在潜移默化中，为企业带来帮助，因为有了人脉就有了商机。
因此他认为，企业和华团也有着密切的互动，但他强调，参与华社和华团工作，并不是为了要找生意和利益，反而是要献身服务和工作。
同时也是沙巴中华大会堂总会长兼亿利达控股有限公司执行主席的吴添泉，是在华总大厦会长室，以线上直播方式为南方大学学院主办的“企业家大讲堂”第28讲，主讲“企业人生与再生企业”时这么表示。讲座会由南方大学学院中马区校友会会长拿督郑有文主持，并由南方大学学院董事长拿督陈洺臣致开幕辞。
吴添泉透露，十多年前他是在友人力邀下参加华团，分别加入福建会馆、兴安会馆、福联会和沙巴中华大会堂，过后获选为沙华堂总会长、沙闽福联会总会长和大马福联会副总会长，并在去年当选华总会长。
他在主讲中以童年、教育、华团、企业和机会五个领域畅谈他的企业人生和再生企业，形容这五个阶段对其企业和一生的做人做事，影响巨大而深远。
他表示来自一个家境贫穷的童年，捕鱼为生的父亲不幸的在他7岁时遇海难而离开，靠伟大的母亲含辛茹苦养大8个兄弟姐妹，排行老三的他自幼就因环境而更自立，而非常重视教育的母亲，以“再穷不能穷教育”的毅力，让他在华小和独中完成了中学教育，并考取了统考和大马教育文凭。
毕业后他在警察总部的肃毒组当翻译员，后来在上司推荐下在警察学院受训及被录取担任见习警长：“那时因没钱到台湾升学而选择皇家警察学院，主要是因为期间膳食住宿全免费，还享有每月450令吉津贴，可以帮补家用。”
他是在1994年，32岁时决定离开警队从商，在友人的协助和支持下，先后经营过“亚视”的影片代理权商、迷你戏院、博彩业，过后还进入上市公司当东马区经理及成为执行主席；2007年他和友人收购一家上市公司“汽车工业有限公司”（AIC）和属下的另外3家附属上市公司，却背负上公司5亿令吉的债务，较后在其团队协作下重组，将债务缩减至5000万令吉；2013年再进行企业重组，合并为目前仍在主板上市的亿利达控股有限公司 （Globaltec Formation Bhd，GLOTEC5220），并上一切步上稳健的轨道上。
今天，亿利达控股的业务多元化，营运业务涉及天然煤层气、油棕种植业、精工金属、汽车零件，为宝腾吉利的主要零件供应商，也为印尼多家公司供应汽车零件等等。
吴添泉也特别感谢多年来一直支持他拓展事业和持家的贤妻潘斯里何淑娟，两人育有二男一女，都在独中毕业后负笈海外而成人成才。
他说，人生中总会有机遇，只要时刻做好充份准备，当机会来时就要把握而抓紧。
