（吉隆坡19日讯）华总会长丹斯里吴添泉对首相丹斯里慕尤丁今天强调“必须跟随国家教育政策考虑统考的解决方案”声明，表示认同与支持。
他说，华总也全力支持首相表示将“根据政策和国情再协商以寻求最终共识”的看法。
“诚如首相所声明，在会面中，政府（首相）并没有宣布承认统考文凭。”
他说，这也是首相在本月16日接见华总领导时，就华总提出有关统考课题时的回应最大重点。
吴添泉是针对首相丹斯里慕尤丁今天通过首相办公室发出的声明，发表文告表示全面认同，并感激首相对这项课题的进一步声明和厘清。
吴添泉也证实，不论是在交流会过程，或是首相本身在较后的脸书简要贴文里，都没有明言政府要承认统考文凭，而华总也没有作出有关“首相宣布政府要承认统考文凭”的引述。
“既然首相在会上已经强调‘如果政府未来要考虑统考的解决方案，统考必须跟随国家教育政策’的情况下，何来‘政府宣布承认统考文凭’的自相矛盾之说？”
他也希望，随着首相今天的相关声明，能够厘清外界一些关心者可能产生的不必要混淆和引发的议论，并告一段落。
他强调，要处理这项多年来的课题和争取，肯定需要各造根据政策和国情，以中庸理性的协商方式进行。
