PUTATAN: Putatan Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Division will be contesting in the Petagas State constituency.

Putatan Bersatu Division Chief, Datuk Seri Dr Arsit Haji Sedi in revealing this shared that they are confident of winning the seat there.

He said observation revealed that they could easily deliver the seat to the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.

According to him, they had submitted the request to contest in this seat to the Sabah Bersatu Chief Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor during a meeting recently.

The Petagas state seat was won by Datuk Uda Sulai of Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) in the 14th General Election.

Uda is presently the Assistant Law and Native Affairs Minister under the caretaker Warisan-led State Government.

He also aknowledge d that Petagas used to be a Sabah Umno traditional seat, but they are appealing to be given a chance to contest in Petagas.

He said they had good advantages in Putatan as they are getting popular among thepthe there.

There are about 11,000 voters in Petagas.-BNN
