KOTA KINABALU: Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB) recently paid its zakat to University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) to be allocated to the Asnaf.
During a simple ceremony at its campus in Sembulan, the mock cheque presentation from BIMB to UCSF with the presence of senior officials of UCSF was carried.
During the event, Mr Melvin Ogos, the State Consumer Relations Director and Mr. Japri Mat Salleh the Deposit Manager (Corporate) shared that Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad would try to expand its zakat contribution to more asnaf.
On another note, the Vice Chancellor, Dr.Rafiq Idris thanked BIMB for selecting UCSF as one of the organizations to receive zakat for the asnaf among UCSF students.-pr/BNN
