Upon approaching this outlet, I was greeted by the aroma of food that made me realise I was quite hungry. Upon entering the restaurant, guests were greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly simmering broth, rich with fragrant herbs and spices. The steamboat menu boasted an extensive selection, ranging from succulent chicken, duck, and beef, to an assortment of mushrooms and vegetables. To round off the meal, diners could indulge in a variety of desserts, including the ever-popular ice cream.

“The restaurant boasts two distinct dining areas: indoor and outdoor. The indoor section can comfortably accommodate up to 150 diners, while the spacious outdoor area provides space for the same number of people. This mean we can accomodate 300 diners at any one time,” its general manager Allan Ho said, gesturing to the idyllic setting where guests were enjoying the delectable steamboat.
Actually,  on clear days, patrons at the outdoor seating could enjoy the sight of the blazing sunset, as dusk gracefully drop its curtains over the islands in the horizon.
I noticed that Awan Restobar  staff were friendly and attentive  who went above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience for us and all their guests. With their warm hospitality and extensive knowledge of the menu, they were always ready to guide diners through their culinary journey.
“In addition to its regular offerings, Awan Restobar also caters to various events and functions with different themes, provided they are notified at least two days in advance. Whether it is a birthday celebration or a corporate gathering, the establishment eagerly welcomes guests to customize their dining experience to suit every occasion,” Allan shared.
He said they were committed to accommodating special dietary needs. The restaurant could to vegetarians, ensuring a wide selection of delectable plant-based dishes.
Moreover, the culinary team, lead by Chef Alvin Amatus were adept at catering to the specific dietary requirements of delegations and groups, ensuring everyone could savour the flavours without any worries or restrictions.
