PENAMPANG: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) and Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) are charging ahead with a clear plan and strategies through their political collaboration to win big in the upcoming State election.
In their second Joint Leadership Council (JLC) meeting today at the STAR headquarters, they discussed the need to intensify preparations for the state election and identified seats it would be contesting.
Among the key matters discussed are the need to step up grassroots collaboration at the divisional level and set up election machinery.
PBS Acting President Datuk Seri Dr Joachim Gunsalam and STAR President Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan are optimistic the political collaboration between the two parties would make them a force to be reckoned with.
The JLC also agreed to come up with a joint manifesto that reflects the shared vision of PBS and STAR, complementary to the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) manifesto.
PBS and STAR reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring their partnership will help deliver a resounding victory for the GRS in the State election.-pr/BNN
