PENAMPANG: The Interactive Digital Board an important step in the Parent Teacher’s Association’s (PTA) efforts to advance education through information technology, while being a milestone in the innovation of teaching methods.

SRJK Yue Min PTA head Victor Voo said, the essence of education is to build character, and technological advancements have provided more efficient and intelligent tools to enhance the learning process.

“The introduction of the Interactive Digital Board not only transforms traditional teaching methods but also makes learning sessions more interactive, thereby achieving mutual improvement in both teaching and learning,” he said during the launching ceremony of the interactive Digital Board, carried out by the Penampang Member of Parliament, Datuk Ewon Benedick.

He shared that the Interactive Digital Board can enhance interaction in classroom teaching. With handwriting recognition, multimedia displays, and remote collaboration features, teachers can explain concepts more clearly, while students can understand and absorb knowledge more effectively.

“Secondly, it optimises the integration of educational resources. With internet connectivity, this interactive digital board can access a variety of learning materials at any time, making the teaching content more diverse and catering to the different learning needs of students,” he stated.

It also plays a role in strengthening educational equity and personalised learning. Whether in urban or rural areas, high-quality educational resources can be shared through this digital board, providing more students with the opportunity to experience more advanced teaching methods.

“Today we are not just launching a digital board; we are also opening a new chapter in educational innovation. I hope that teachers will fully utilise this smart tool to explore more effective teaching methods, making learning more engaging and providing long-term benefits to students.”
