KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Noor took time off today to meet with Sul Aidil Sudi, who was part of the Malaysian contingent from Sabah to join the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) on a humanitarian mission to Gaza early this month.
Hajiji commended Sul’s bravery after the latter recounted his ordeal following GSF’s interception by Israeli forces in international waters near Gaza.
“I am glad you and your friends returned safely,” Hajiji told Sul who is from Tawau during the meeting over lunch at Sri Gaya here today.Together with Sul was Khairul Azlee Mohd Yunus from Sandakan who was part of the GSF Malaysian ground crew in Spain.
Another Sabahan volunteer, Zizi Kirana was unable to join the meeting due to a prior commitment.-pr/BNN
