SANDAKAN: Yong Yit Jee took the time to visit Sandakan Municipal Council, Energy Commission and Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd Sandakan Branch when he (as a lawyer) went to Sandakan to handle a High court matter.

Yit Jee, who is a member of the Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) supreme council said that during his visit to the three major departments, shared some livelihood issues. He is thankful these department who listened readily and had made arrangements in handling the issues. He was grateful to SESB Sandakan Zone Manager, Rahim Tahir; Regional Director of Energy Commission for East Coast, Amir Faisal bin Khamsah and Deputy President of Sandakan Municipal Council, Faridah binti Giau, for taking the time to meet despite their busy schedules. Yong is also thankful to Tanjong Papat Community Development Leader (PPM), Shaiful Bahari bin Muin and his team’s assistance in arranging the meetings with the departments concerned which went smoothly.

Yong Yit Jee is optimistic and hopes that the new contractor can effectively sort out the garbage problem that has plagued Sandakan for a long time.

“Since the market gradually recovers, hopefully, Sandakan’s economy will follow suit after solving these basic problems,” he said.-pr/BNN
