KOTA KINABALU: SAPP is in no hurry to rush the implementation of the Sabah IC as we agree with the Chief Minister that there are other more pressing and urgent matters such as the daily livelihood of people, the economy and basic infrastructure that require the full attention of the Sabah government, says SAPP president Datuk Yong Teck Lee.
The proposed Sabah IC has already been debated at the Sabah Legislative Assembly on 22 March 2022 with several Members of the Assembly taking part in the healthy and informative debate. At the winding up speech, the Chief Minister has replied that the Sabah IC matter will be given due consideration.
SAPP is confident that the Sabah IC proposal and also the eventual return of Labuan to Sabah will happen, he stated.-pr/BNN
