PENAMPANG: The Council of the Justices of the Peace, Sabah (MAJAPS) held its 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Refflasia Room, ITCC Penampang today, resulting in a refreshed Executive Council (EXCO) lineup featuring both returning and new faces.

Datuk Seri Panglima Clarence B. Malakun was retained as President, while Tan Sri DSP Andrew Liew Sui Fatt was newly elected as Deputy President.

Two new Vice Presidents were also elected:

  • Datuk Kevin Lim Thien Phin
  • Datuk James Ligunjang

Meanwhile, eleven members were elected to the Executive Committee:

  • Datuk Peter Pang En Yin
  • Datuk Hj. Salsidu Hj. Ibrahim
  • Datuk John Anselmus Sikayun
  • Datuk Peter Allion
  • Madam Aw Lai Kheng
  • Dr. Oh Ei Sun
  • Datuk Richard Chua Kim Yin
  • Datin Seri Panglima Vicky Lai Nyat Yin
  • Dato’ Chew Kok Wah
  • Dato Ir. John Chee Shi Tong
  • Ms. Yee Tsai Yee

The positions of Hon. Secretary General, Hon. Treasurer General, and their Assistants will be confirmed at the first meeting of the new EXCO, expected in the coming weeks

Majap Raffle Ticket Project 2025

MAJAPS is currently running its Raffle Ticket Project 2025, with the lucky draw scheduled for 11 October 2025, 11.00 am at the Central Atrium, ITCC Penampang.

The Grand Prize is a new model Chery car, while the second prize is a Proton Saga. Both vehicles are now on display at the main entrance of ITCC Shopping Mall. In total, 35 attractive prizes are up for grabs.

The closing date for ticket sales is 26 September 2025. Tickets not paid in full by the deadline will be deemed null and void.
