KOTA KINABALU: The comfort of a hotel room depends on the furnishing and the ambiance, where it invites rest and complete relaxation.
It should not only have the usual trappings of a bedroom but also a mini home for the traveller. The atmosphere should be welcoming and warm, so that the weary traveller can rest and wake up the next day completely refreshed.
This is what the Klagan Regency at 1Borneo has for their guests, the General Manager Narendra Sinniah said, adding that they are refurbishing the rooms there presently to meet the needs of their guests.
He shared that when the refurbishment is completed, they will have rooms that not only offer the usual beds and cabinets and bathroom, but the touches that make a room more than a cubicle.
After the completion of the refurbishment next year, the 269 rooms will be well presented, with total comfort for guests.
“Other refurbishments include the ballroom which can accommodate up to 1800 guests. We have ample space for functions such as weddings,” he shared adding that they have an in-house wedding planner who will help their clients with their events.
“We have our own theme and menu to offer our clients, but we will of course take their needs and requests into consideration,” he stated.
There are five meeting rooms and two boardrooms available in the hotel.
The refurbishment will include the hotel swimming pool and the restaurant while the bar and lounge has been completed.
