KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Wanita UMNO Chief cum Sepanggar Wanita UMNO Chief, Datuk Jainab Ahmad Ayid, (centre) with other division chiefs, deputy division chiefs, vice chiefs and division secretaries of Zone 2 (Kota Kinabalu, Sepanggar, Putatan and Penampang divisions) during the State Wanita UMNO’s programme called “Jelajah Zon” held at Grand Tang Dynasty Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, last Sunday.
Jainab said the activity, which is part of the wing’s programme for 2018, was aimed at further strengthening existing ties and networking among its leaders and members throughout the State.
She said apart from that it was also meant to get direct feedbacks from the grassroots level, including post mortem and activity reports from all the Wanita UMNO divisions.
“This is also part of our effort to continue encouraging and empowering our women in entrepreneurship,” she said.
So far they already completed the programme at four out of altogether six zones. – By LSK/BNN
