KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman extends his deepest condolences to the family of Sabah Barisan Nasional media liaison Chief and former Daily Express Chief Reporter, Kassim Sangi who passed away after complication post cardiac surgery at IJN today.
Musa said Kassim was a veteran newsman who had a lot of insight into the media fraternity and the political landscape in Sabah. He also started internet tv, Sabah TV to publicise government’s effort in developing the state.
“We have lost a dedicated newsman who gave a voice to our efforts in the government,” he said.
Meanwhile, Press Secretary to the Chief Minister, Afeiza Khan said she was deeply saddened by the news of Kassim’s passing.
“His passing is a great loss to those in the media. I have lost a good friend, someone who was helpful and always willing to share his experience, knowledge and information on the goings on in Sabah,” she said.-pr/BNN
