Sabah UMNO Liaison Chairman, Datuk Haji Hajiji Haji Noor, in asking this, said in doing so, Tangau should also close down all UPKO divisions in the Peninsula and just stick to Sabah.
“I dare Wilfred Tangau to tell PKR and DAP, both are Malaya-registered and Malaya-based parties, to stick to the Peninsula before asking others the same…dont be biased,” he said in response to Tangau who in a local daily had asked UMNO to stick to the Peninsula.
Hajiji, who is also Sulaman Assemblyman, said while doing so, UPKO should also just stick to Sabah and close down all its divisions in the Peninsula.
“If Wilfred Tangau do not want any Malaya-registered and Malaya-based party in Sabah, then UPKO should also close down all its divisions in Malaya…please dont just tell others to do things that you, at the same time, dont want to do,” he stressed.
“You tell people you don’t want Malaya parties in Sabah, but at the same time you have two Malaya parties (PKR and DAP) with you as part of the Sabah State Government.”
“If I am Wilfred Tangau, I would be very careful when talking so not to offend the PKR and DAP leaders,” he said.-By L. S. Kuang/BNN
