KOTA KINABALU: A three day bridal fair is being organised by the Klagan Regency Hotel to be held on Jan 11, 12 and 13.
The event will feature 24 booths that showcase wedding attires and the various wedding paraphernalia as well as photography services.
The event will be held at the hotel’s newly refurbished ballroom which can accommodate up to 1000 pax for wedding functions.
During the event, four fashion shows will be carried out, twice each on Jan 12 and 13, respectively. Besides the fashion show, there will also be a makeup demo by popular make up artist Petrus Boy.
Those expected to showcase their products include Zara Wedding Concept, Yes I do Bridal House, Alice Wedding Gallery, D’Kota Wedding Planner and Thai Odyssey as well as MUA among others. It is also held in collaboration with Borneo Event and Expo.
General Manager Yeow Hock Siew said there will be various interesting and fun programmes during the event such as surprise gifts for early birds as well as a lucky draw.
He said trained and experienced professionals will be present to ensure guests are catered to accordingly and efficiently.
“We hope to be the leading wedding venue for this area and Sabah as a whole,” he said, adding that the pillarless ballroom can accommodate up to 1800 guests for cocktail, 1700 theatre style and 800 classroom style as well as 1000 for wedding banquet.

The Klagan Regency Hotel located 15 minutes from Kota Kinabalu City, the State Capital of Sabah boasts 269 rooms and suites with five room categories to choose from.
