KOTA KINABALU: In conjunction with the Deepavali celebration, the Palace Hotel Kinabalu is promoting Indian fares for lunch and dinner for one month.
The food promotion features a huge tray of combo meal that includes include Poppadom, Tomato Chutney, Chapati and Briyani Rice, Green Bean Curry and Indian Potato Patties. There are also Alo Ghobi and Kheer with a choice of Mango Lassi or Teh Tarik.
The sumptuous and rather large meal at RM40 is a true taste of India, as it’s chef Marcel Lumangkok is Punjabi on his mother’s side and thus very familiar with the ingredients.
Its general manager, Chloe Loo said it the menu was created as a food promotion for October but might be extended depending on diner’s response.
The Palace Hotel Kota Kinabalu is a 4-star hotel sited on a hill at the Karamunsing area. It is located in an area that is convenient for both business travellers and leisure guests.
