INANAM: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) continues its effort to help the less fortunate during this trying time due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
And on Sunday, its supreme council member Goon Thien Shang along with party workers sent some goodies and vegetables to Rumah Bakti Harapan (RBH).
They were greeted on arrival by RBH chairman, Ginantar Balud.
“This is part of the social responsibilities of PBS to help the poor as RBH is a charitable home and rely on public support to feed its disabled residents,” said Goon.
“We understand that the home is in dire needs of not only financial support but also daily essential goods, he said a
“We hope our little contributions can help the home to relax a bit temporarily while waiting for other generous sponsors to come,” said Goon.
According to Ginantar, to date the home have 10 permanent residents some of whom are disabled while others are orphans .
“The survival of the home is largely dependent on the generous support and contributions from the public. We are very thankful to Goon for his kind generousity in sending us some food and vegetables despite the movement control order,” he said.
