SANDAKAN : Keadilan president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s sham announcement is tantamount to sabotaging the country, spooking investor confidence at a time when we need to do all we can to revive the country.
MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said when commenting on Anwar’s announcement at a media conference on Wednesday that he (Anwar) has garnered enough support from Members of Parliament (MPs) to form a new government
The KLCI has already shed 10.5 points right after he made his “big claim” to have the majority to form the government, Wee who is Transport Minister said.
“Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is back to his old tricks. Remember when he tried to pull the same con job over the rakyat back in 16 September 2008 when he promised he had 30 MPs to crossover to form the government? ,” he further said.
Absolutely nothing but air came from that episode. Ask the media, during the press conference today (Wednesday), he was still being evasive and vague when pressed on the numbers that he believes he has, Wee added.

Under his able leadership, Perikatan Nasional (PN) as a functionable government has won global praise in containing Covid-19 in the past 6 months and keeping the country’s economy on an even keel despite much hardship and obstacles due to the pandemic, he said.
“Anwar Ibrahim should be more responsible as a senior politician, especially with the Sabah state elections happening right now. The stability of the country is much more important than his obsession with being PM,” he said.-pr/BNN
