PENAMPANG: Persatuan Kebajikan Pekerja-Pekerja Kelab Rekreasi (PKPPKRS)Sabah responded to the need of the underprivileged students in SK St Aloysius, Penampang, Sabah by giving a new life restoring the collected used PC and laptops, then donated it to the needy students.
There are five students selected and will receive the donated used laptops and computers. Headmaster Lawrence George is concerned with the current situation in Sabah, due to the pandemic COVID19, things are hard for the other students especially those in a remote area without internet access to join the online classes. Some of the students from the B40 families do not have the luxury to even purchase laptops or PC which leads them unable to join the online classes. He wished that this program by Persatuan Kebajikan Pekerja-Pekerja Kelab Rekreasi Sabah will continue to help more students in the future and he was grateful that SK St Aloysius was chosen to be part of the program.
The Persatuan Kebajikan Pekerja-Pekerja Kelab Rekreasi Sabah aims to help more students with this charity program where the committees will seek donation and collect used computer or laptop that is still in good condition, restoring it and then donating it to underprivileged students.
