KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor, received a courtesy call from a delegation from the Sabah Education Department led by State Education Director, Datuk Haji Raisin Saidin, at his office in Menara Kinabalu on Monday.
During the meeting, Raisin presented a briefing on the Sabah State Education Department’s key programmes for this year and plans for the coming year, including the progress and encouraging achievements of students in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations.
Hajiji, in this regard, expressed the State Government’s continued support to strengthening the education sector, particularly in enhancing the quality of learning, empowering school management, and ensuring the holistic development of students throughout Sabah.
He also stressed the importance of strategic and continuous collaboration between the State Government and the Sabah Education Department to ensure that all education policies and initiatives are implemented effectively and comprehensively.
“This close relationship is crucial in efforts to strengthen the state’s education sector and subsequently produce quality and competitive human capital,” he said.
The delegation from the State Education Department also included Deputy Director of the Planning and Management Sector of the District Education Office (PPD), Indang Kasi Haji Sibin; Deputy Director of the School Management Sector, Krishna KS @ Mohd Fadzli Hj Abd Rozan; Deputy Director of the Student Development Sector, Muddin Beting; and Senior Assistant Director, Salleh Linggam.-pr/BNN
