KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor welcomes the contribution of the engineering profession in helping to realise the Hala Tuju Sabah Maju Jaya 2.0 development agenda.
He was heartened to note the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, Sabah branch’s (IEM Sabah) readiness and commitment to continue assisting the State Government in realising the vision.
Hajiji said this when meeting with the IEM Sabah delegation led by its chairman Datuk Ir Ts Mohd Yaakob at Menara Kinabalu on Tuesday.
During the meeting the IEM Sabah extended appreciation to the State Government for its contribution and support to its programmes, especially the Conference of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (CAFEO) held here in October 2024.
Mohd Yaakob will officially conclude his tenure as chairman of IEM Sabah Branch in June this year and will be succeeded by Ir Tan Kok Jyh, the current IEM Sabah vice chairman.-pr/BNN
