KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Kota Kinabalu Funei Li Taiji Association will be organising the Sabah Tai Chi, Karate and Tacfit Grand Show at the Sabah International Convention and Exhibition Centre (SICC) on August 8.
The Association’s Chairman, Dato’ Seri Winston Liaw said the show is part of the run-up to the Miss World Malaysia 2022 grand coronation night on August 27-28.
“This is the first time that Sabah is hosting the pageant which is also an effort to boost the recovery of the state’s tourism industry,” he said.
The purpose of the show is to create a communication platform for those who are concerned about health and sports, and to promote a balanced life style through exercise, he said.
Martial arts enthusiasts in Sabah are welcome to come and watch the show, which will also be show online via Hyperlive, he said.
The organisers will also be inviting the popular Tawau Morning Exercise Group headed by Jin Song. In Tawau, this group perform their taichi exercise at Pu Zhao Temple, he said.-pr/BNN
