TUARAN: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor is satisfied with the progress of the 20.8km Serusop – Pinturu road under the Pan Borneo Highway project here.

“I visited the work site today and I am happy with the progress, which is ahead of schedule,” he said when met after visiting one of the road sections at Kampung Penimbawan here today.

Construction of the RM465 million road commenced on January 20, 2025 and is expected to be completed by July 19, 2028.

The single-carriageway road that links Tuaran and Kota Belud would also see the construction of a 682-metre bridge.

The Chief Minister was briefed by State Public Works Director Datuk Philemon Lajawai and his officers.

Also present was Deputy Chief Minister III/Works Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya.-pr/BNN
