KOTA KINABALU: Today, the cabinet line-up under the new Chief Minister Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal was sworn in before the Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin here.
Three people were named Deputy Chief Minister, mainly Tuaran Member of Parliament (MP) Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau, Sabah PKR Chief Christina Liew and Parti Warisan Sabah vice president Datuk Jaujan Sambakong.
Tangau is also Trade and Industry Minister while Liew is the Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister. Jaujan is the local Government and Housing Minister.
Datuk Peter Anthony is the Minister of Infrastructure Development; Stephen Wong Tien Fatt is Minister of Health and People’s Wellbeing, while Junz Wong is the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry.
The Minister of Education and Innovation is Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob, Rural Development Minister is Ewon Benedict and Minister of Legal and Native Affairs is Datuk Aidi Moktar.
Minister of Youth and Sports is Poon Ming Fung.
There are 18 Assistant Ministers under the various Ministries.-BNN
